About the APA

The APA is the world’s largest amateur pool league with more than 250,000 members competing in 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues throughout North AmericaClick here for more information about the history of the APA.

The Central Illinois APA provides the fairest, most enjoyable pool league in the nation. We have a very active league, with scheduled competitions every day of the week! Our goal is to have maximum participation on all available active nights, at all of our host locations. We have complete dedication to the APA players, host location owners and the APA National Office. We are committed to providing a service that both players and hosts expect and deserve.

The American Poolplayers Association has over 200,000 members across the nation. Amateur players from every skill level participate in local events to have fun, meet people, and most of all PLAY POOL!

The Central Illinois APA offers league play in Open 8-Ball, Open 9-Ball, Ladies, Jack-n-Jill,  Masters.

The Central Illinois APA has been operated by Kim Jones in Macon county for over 25 years, and expanded to include Champaign, Douglas, Piatt and Ford Counties in 2003. Expansion continued in 2008 to Coles, Shelby, Moultrie and Montgomery counties and again in 2011 to include Sangamon/Menard counties.
